Do you like staying in one of the most beautiful farms in the region of a thousand ponds? It is with pleasure that we offer you our "Chambre Mérisier". She is a brand new construction from the summer of 2021.

It is furnished with care in cherry wood with a parquet floor also in cherry wood.

The room offers space for 2 people.
It consists of a 160x200 cm double bed with two health mattresses, two bedside tables, a wardrobe, a large chest of drawers with lots of drawers, a large mirror, a small desk with a chair and a rest area with two chairs and a table. The bedroom offers a beautiful and large modern bathroom, equipped with an Italian shower, a sink, a toilet and a window.
A refrigerator and a kettle are at your disposal.

Lots of light enters the bedroom through a large skylight and from a large window and the window in the front door.

The room has a private balcony of approximately 20 m², equipped with a garden table for 2 people and a parasol. It benefits from the sun from the afternoon until the evening. The accommodation is on the first floor and has its own entrance. It is heated by central heating and can be booked all year round. A wireless local area network (WLAN) is available to all guests free of charge.

Breakfast is included in the price. It is served in the room.

From the beginning of December, our farm is decorated for Christmas with many lights and decorations.

The large secluded property in the heart of the region of a thousand ponds has a natural lake in which you can swim and go boating.
Many green spaces around the house with sun loungers as well as other garden tables and benches invite you to relax in peace.

From the bedroom you have a direct view of the pastures of our animals (horses, goats).

Location and housing situation
The room is located in the middle of nature, in a country house, in a secluded place with 12 hectares of land.

Magnificent hiking and cycling trails in untouched nature with numerous lakes directly border the property. It is more likely to encounter animals than people when hiking. Let yourself be charmed by this preserved haven.

The nearest hamlet (La Mer) is 1.5 km away and the nearest village (Faucogney) 4 km.
In Faucogney, there is: a tourist office, a pharmacy, a doctor, a bakery, a butcher, a German beer shop, a small store, a post office, an ATM, a restaurant, a garage, a church… In summer, there is a market with local products every Saturday from 4pm to 8pm in the pretty historic town of Faucogney.

In Mélisey (10 km) there is a large Belgian supermarket (COLRUYT) with a nice vegetable section and a sale of fresh meat. Many other shops such as the bakery, the pharmacy, the butcher, the florist, the café can be found in the small town of Mélisey which is located on the Ognon river. There are also several restaurants in Mélisey. Not far from Mélisey, there is a very nice swimming pool with a slide for children. You can also have fun at the nearby river.
On Wednesday morning, there is a market in Mélisey.

In about 30 minutes by car you can reach the beautiful little town of Luxeuil-les-Bains where there is a thermal bath and where various restaurants invite you to dine. In summer there is a night market with regional products, music, …

There are various excursion possibilities for young and old

Faucogney-et-la-Mer is located at the foot of the southern Sas Vosges mountains in the Milles Etangs region (region of 1000 ponds). It belongs to the Burgundy and Franche-Comté region and is located in Haute-Saône. Bicycles (also e-bikes) can be rented at the Faucogney tourist office as well as at Mélisey.
