Charming guest house 20 km from the Château de Chambord for a getaway along the Loire Valley and its castles.
After your visits or walks, continue your getaway to the Moulin de Foussard,
an authentic watermill built between the 11th and 19th centuries.
Katia and Fred welcome you there throughout the year by opening their guest room located in the old stable of the mill. This unique room will provide you with all the privacy and calm you desire.
The property is made up of a large residential farmhouse and a building, originally intended for all the machinery of the mill (gears, wheel, etc.), embellished with a very large garden surrounded by the stream which fed the mill.
The guest room, on the Loire à Vélo route, offers a space to store bicycles under cover for the night.
The charming guest room/suite, with its independent entrance, overlooks the front garden.
It has been fitted out, furnished and decorated with elements found in the barn of the last miller in a chic country spirit.
To get the day off to a good start, Katia and Fred will prepare a gourmet breakfast for you consisting of homemade morning pastries, various homemade jams, coffee, chocolate, herbal teas, fresh fruit salad, homemade yogurts, cheese, fruit juice, egg from the chicken coop and other savory or sweet delicacies of the moment…
