Set in lovely gardens just 5 minutes' walk from Te Anau city centre, Birchwood Cottages offers self-contained units with a private patio and views of the Fiordland Mountains. It provides free WiFi. Situated on the edge of Lake Te Anau, Birchwood Cottages is a 2-hour drive to Milford Sound, a scenic alpine drive. Lake Manapouri and Doubtful Sound are 20 minutes away by car. Set among birch trees, the cottages offer a modern kitchen and satellite TV. Each cottage also includes its own private barbecue facilities. Guests can enjoy fishing and hiking in the cottages’ natural surroundings. The property can book tours to Milford Sound, and discounted group bookings can be arranged.
