Located 1400 metres above sea level on the south side of the Schmittenhöhe Mountain in Zell am See, Berghotel Blaickner's Sonnalm cannot be reached by car but only by the Sonnalmbahn Cable Car (last cable car 16.30). Ski slopes and hiking paths are accessible directly from the property.
The family-run hotel offers a spacious sun terrace with scenic views of the Hohe Tauern Mountain Range. After a day full of skiing or hiking, guests can relax in the outdoor hot tub or can have a glass of wine in front of the fireplace.
