"Welcome to Hotel della Torre, the ideal destination for a holiday, work or study break. The hotel has been run by 5 successive generations of the same family: over a hundred years ago, merchants came to stay at this coaching inn on their travels from town to town while their horses found rest in our stables. Since that timemany things have changed of course but it is always with the same pleasure that our family welcomes guests to the peace and quiet of our hotel.

"Hotel della Torre is in an ideal situation for art lovers, being just 5' on foot from Oratorio Suardi, the chapel of Lorenzo Lotto, a great Renaissance artist who painted a series of frescoes detailing the history of Saint Barbara and the miracles performed by Saint Brigitte, Saint Catherine and Marie Magdalene, a work ordered in 1524 by the nobleman Giovan Battista Suardi.
The hotel is the ideal base for discovering all of the Bergame region and its magnificent works of art in Celana, Sedrina, Ponteranica, Credaro, all located within a range of 15' - 35' by car. Our reception staff will be only too delighted to provide you with guidance, but whatever you decide to do you must also spend some time taking in the magical atmosphere that reigns in the upper reaches of the town of Bergame, with its towers and steeples, churches and medieval streets. There are many museums and galleries, notably the famous Carrare Academy. which houses a vast array of masterpieces by artists such as Caravaggio, Botticelli, Raphaël, Mantegna, Carpaccio, Pisanello, Velasquez...and many other 15th - 18th century painters."
