The museum Schiller Goethe presents the personal items of the two German figures of the eighteenth century. Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805) poet and playwright, had close ties with France. He received French citizenship during the Revolution, following his writings against tyranny. He became friends with Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in 1794. Their collaboration gave birth to Weimer Theater. Personal items alongside of Goethe and Schiller's donation. The museum also pays tribute to Adalbert von Chamisso, Nicolas Appert and Leon Bourgeois.
