Its collections are divided into three key areas: archeology, ceramics and painting. Fund lapidary former relate products Recent archaeological excavations (Gallo-Roman and medieval), and a large collection chart for the city of Melun and monuments. Ceramics is dominated by earthenware Rubelles (1839-1852) known to have adapted the technique of the process Lithophane enamels. Finally, the collections of French and foreign paintings include works by Flemish, of which two still lifes by Jacob van Hulsdonck, around which sculptures and decorative arts of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
