Up the art history of the last five centuries, Bonnat Museum is interested in all European schools: the Italian school (drawings Pollaiuolo, Signorelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo ...) the Flemish school (Van Dyck, Rubens sketches ...) the Dutch school (drawings by Rembrandt ...) the Spanish School (El Greco, Murillo, Ribera, Goya, and many "primitive" ... ), the German school (drawings by Dürer ...) English school (Lawrence, Reynolds ...). But these are the works of French painters who occupy the dominant position, particularly those of the nineteenth century (David, Girodet, Gericault, Ingres, Delacroix, Corot, Courbet, Boudin, Puvis de Chavannes, Degas ...).
