The Tower Museum of Aldermen is one of the oldest in France: it is through a resolution dated January 22, 1673, the City Council resolved to "collect antiques found in its territory, and drop it off at City Hall. " This building was built in the second half of the fifteenth century by Henri Jouffroy, second son of Perrin, brother of the Cardinal. First hired, it was purchased in 1552 by the notables of the city, to house the municipal functions. Heritage jewel civil luxovien, it rises four floors, opening onto a side staircase of 146 steps leading to an octagonal tower.
