Museum of Gallo-Roman civilization with series lapidary remarkable public architecture and funerary inscriptions, sculptures in the round and reliefs. From the demolition of the wall of the Lower Empire, these remains are presented in the old slaughterhouse in the city redeveloped in 1931. In an adjoining room, the daily life of Santon is evoked by a series of archaeological objects found in Saintes. Elements from a "tank trap" of the 1st century complement the presentation: unique in Western Europe.
