Collectors of dolls, toys and games, do not miss the opportunity to visit this museum housed in the former stables of the Château de Josselin. This magical and poetic results in children and adults who visit it on the road to the history of the toy.
This little wonder made of passion, memories and dreams is the creation of Antoinette de Rohan. There are over 30 years, she discovers in the attic of the castle's collection of dolls began in the late 19th century by Herminie de Rohan, the great-grandmother of her husband. It took him several years to identify and complete this collection, seeking the origins, characteristics, histories of all the dolls, ranged far in cabinets. Finally, in 1984, Antoinette de Rohan opens the Museum with hundreds of dolls, the oldest dating from the 17th century. Gradually, through the generosity of many donors, the family collection adds new dolls, toys and games, which will, from 1988, the presentation of temporary exhibitions each year a theme different.
