Avenue Saint Jacques - 06500 MENTON
This garden was established in 1905 by Percy Radcliffe, a passion for botany, became in 1966 the Mediterranean branch of the National Museum of Natural History. He collects Labiatae and Solanaceae and a large number of edible plants (kiwis, avocados, bananas ...). One can find the only copy of Sophora toromiro, the mythical tree of Easter Island, which grows in the ground in sunny Menton. In total, the garden is a collection of over 700 species of plants.
