Chartreuse d'Arvières

Chartreuse founded around the year 1121-1127, transformed in the late 14th century during the removal of the low house and the 17th century. The monastic buildings fall into three distinct areas: foreign vessels to convent life (bakery, carpentry, blacksmithing, shoemaking, stable ...), buildings in the community or cenobitic (cloister, sacristy, chapter, refectory, dormitory of lay) and buildings anchorite.
