15100 SAINT-FLOUR
The cathedral of Saint-Pierre Saint-Flour is one of the four cathedrals of Auvergne. It is located in the heart of the city of Saint-Flour (Cantal), on the parade ground lined with arcades and towards which many ancient streets. Gothic style, it was completed at the end of the fifteenth century on the site of a Roman basilica, but was severely damaged during the Revolution. As with other religious buildings in the region, the material is volcanic rock - lava black Liozargues - which gives a characteristic dark color.
