Benedictine abbey founded in the 12th century, there is nothing left today of medieval buildings, the current state of the main building is the reconstruction of Claude Louis of Avila from 1756 to 1761: the church occupies the first floor ; in the 1780s, François Buron accounts for various works affecting the adjoining farm, while the church is adorned with a new altar table with his (missing), sold as national property in 1791, in 1822, demolition of part left of the main building where there was the choir of the church, replaced by a flag in 1860, all the old abbey buildings had to leave around a courtyard forming cloister (see parts of the plans of Avila) and it also remains to the left of the court present a small building known as the home of the abbess, probably dating from the late 17th or early 18th century because not listed in the specifications or in Daviler increases; ruins of a pigeon that was built in the 17th century with stones from the demolition of a house in Forfontaine (near Congy) the remains of the abbey buildings and farm these days are two different lots.
