Here are the directions to reach the tower from the Gallargues -Le -Montueux exit no. 26 from the A9 motorway.
At the first roundabout, straight ahead towards Aigues-Mortes, Aimargues etc...
At the second roundabout, straight ahead, pass in front of Super U and Mac Do.
Immediately after, leave the main road to turn right, direction the village of Aimargues.
Turn around the small roundabout with olive trees and head towards the center of the village.
At the next roundabout / fountain, continue straight ahead. You pass a real estate agency, a florist, the Crédit Agricole, the doctors, the Lices bar...
Very quickly, after the bar des Lices, turn right, at five past one, at the corner of a small house (recently redone) take rue de Marsillargues. In the distance, you can see the building of the old cooperative cellar.
At the end of this small narrow street, turn left, then leave the houses and pass in front of the cooperative cellar. Then cross the small railway line at the level crossing.
Then, just after, on your left, you will see the wooden gate open for your arrival.
Continue to a parking space before the barbecue, or park your vehicle elsewhere if you wish. Now you can continue on foot, pass in front of the tower and take the small bridge.
You will thus arrive at our house where we will be delighted to welcome you.
You can also call me or Antoine as soon as you arrive in Aimargues so that one of us can wait for you at La Tour.

Journey in September 2023
"Traumhafter Wasserturm mit Herz"
Meine Frau und ich haben einen sehr schönen Spätsommer in diesem mit viel Liebe und Einsatz umgebauten und praktisch und höchst geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wasserturm aus dem 19. Jahrhundert verbracht. Ein großes Gelände, wo man immer einen Sonnenplatz, aber auch einen im Schatten findet, Gartenmöbel, ein schöner Essensplatz, eine Boulebahn, eine Tischtennisplatte, kaum ein Wunsch bleibt hier unerfüllt. Auch an das Zubehör wurde gedacht. Von Waschmittel über Seife, Tabs, Taschenlampen bis hin zu Mückenabwehr war fast alles vor Ort. Und fehlte doch einmal etwas, hatte man Fragen, dann wurde einem von der herzlichen Vermieterfamilie umgehend geholfen. Überhaupt, die Location ist schon klasse, aber Francoise und Ihre beiden Kinder sind noch mal das Sahnehäubchen auf der Torte. Selten so liebe, herzensgute und hilfsbereite Vermieter gehabt.
Tatsächlich gibt es auch Punkte, die man wissen sollte, obwohl Sie uns nicht gestört haben. Viermal tagsüber fährt ein Zug langsam ca. 30m entfernt am Turm vorbei. Der Turm hat kein Wlan. Da ich teilweise arbeiten musste, wurde mir von Francoise wahlweise ein Zimmer in oder ein Tisch vor ihrem Haus zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Pool, den wir als Strandratten nicht benutzt haben, ist ca. 50m entfernt. Wie gesagt, diese Punkte hatten keinerlei Relevanz für unseren Aufenthalt, aber man sollte sie kennen.
Und zu guter Letzt ein Tipp für Interessierte. Francoise ist eine tolle Künstlerin. Bittet sie, Ihre Skulpturen sehen zu dürfen. Es ist ein Erlebnis.
Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.
