Studio Le Front du Lac

Located at an altitude of 930 m, in the heart of the Jura Mountains, in a preserved natural setting, Saint-Point lake is the 3rd natural lake in France. You can enjoy the diversity of landscapes and all the shades of green. Here it is nature that sets the tone.
The Mont d'Or, the nearest summit (1463m) offers a panorama over the entire chain of the Alps.

The studio is in a small quiet residence of 11 apartments in the center of the village 100m from the lake, you will do everything on foot: mini-market, bar, restaurants, nautical base, swimming pool, bakery.

The accommodation is on the ground floor, well exposed with a terrace and a view of the lake. It has a sleeping area with 2 80cm beds, a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, a main room with a comfortable sofa bed, a small television, a kitchen area with oven, micro- wave, dishwasher.

Free parking space and access to a closed room for bikes and skis. Sheets and towels are not provided or on request with a supplement.

In summer, nautical activities (sailing, catamaran, paddle, pedal boats), fishing, tree climbing, electric boat ride to discover the lake, nautical complex: indoor swimming pool with SPA area. But also, mountain biking, electric bikes (hire in the village), hiking and trail running. The hiking trail around the lake (20km) is at the foot of the residence.

In winter, the alpine ski resort of Métabief is 8 km away. it is also a paradise for cross-country skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing: many areas stretch from Les Fourgs to Malbuisson, Mouthe and Chapelle des Bois.

As for the gourmets, our region has character: Jura wines, various cheeses, Morbier, tomme and more particularly Comté (Comté cheese maturing cellars 5 km away in a former military fort where 100,000 wheels are aged, visit to reservation), smoked meats.

The nearest Swiss border is about 15 km away, the city of Neuchâtel 1 hour by road, Lausanne (60 km) and Geneva 1 hour 15 minutes.
