Our tranquil haven, set in the Lauragais countryside gives you the opportunity to embrace life at a slower pace with a more sustainable holiday. We are surrounded by fields and rolling hills which creates a natural environment that allows you time to breath, relax, connect and enjoy shared time together. We have four gites so can accommodate everyone from couples to larger groups wanting to holiday together, make the most of our outdoor and covered shared spaces, to eat, sit or play together.

We have two large family Gites, Minervois (sleeps up to 6), Corbieres (sleeps up to 8) and two smaller gites. Cabardes is idea for a couple and Fitou can also host a small family as it has a double sofa bed.

You can watch the family on the trampoline with a morning coffee or head off for a walk to sample the views of the Lauragais plain from the Montagne Noire to the Pyrenees.

In the afternoon sit by the pool or in our gardens to read or just sit. As the evening approaches, play babyfoot or table tennis before enjoying an evening meal using the fabulous local produce from our onsite shop. After the sun has set, sit out and gaze at the stars to end the perfect day.

If you are looking for something a bit more active, let us help you to explore the landscape by bike using the many on and off road options If it is culture you want there are many historical sites such as Carcassonne and Saissac or try our nearby lakes to swim, sail and picnic.

We are also passionate about food and we have discovered the rich food heritage of the Laruagais which we aim to showcase through our onsite shop. We are also delighted to help make your holiday with us special through tailoring your stay with recommendations for days out to discover this heritage.

LOCATION
We are located in the small village of Montmaur in Aude just over the border with the Haute-Garonne. Our site provides a great location for a rural escape from hectic lives. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside where you can go for walks and experience the amazing views. We surrounded by villages with markets, restaurants and interesting places to visit.The Lauragais has a rich food culture with many local artisan producers. We can help you experience this through arranging visits with cheese makers, brewers and even our local olive oil producer.We are also lucky to have many other essential amenities nearby with supermarkets, boulangeries and pharmacies all close by. The Lauragaise has a long history and if you want cultural experiences then there is plenty to do, with many Cathar castles and of course Carcassonne. There is the Canal Du Midi and the fascinating history of this world heritage site. Our favouite place is Lac Saint Ferriol which is the man made 'basin that provides the water to control the flow in the Canal which is a geat place to spend the day.
