The loft-gîte is absolutely unique, with its mixture of old and modern, in a historic place:
The ground floor consists of a bedroom and a bathroom, in the vaulted troglodyte cellar, typical of the Region, and used in the 19th century by wine workers.
Going up the handcrafted wrought iron staircase, you will reach the light of an extremely modern first floor, with a new structure all in green building. This place is also steeped in history, since it was from here that in 1517, Leonardo da Vinci drew his famous view of the Château d'Amboise and the lower town. From the upstairs bedroom, you will be amazed and moved by the exceptional view.
In addition, you will be close to the essentials: historic monuments with the royal castle, Clos Lucé, the last home of L. de Vinci, Château Gaillard, the first Renaissance palace in France, as well as shops in the city center. Everything is about 600 m away and you will have a private parking space at the foot of the gîte.
Finally, we live in the house just a little further up the street and will be at your disposal to give you any information you may need (unpretentious).
See you soon maybe !
