Separate kitchen with very TV, well equipped with Smeg cooking unit, American fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, colored Smeg appliances. New bathroom with freestanding bathtub.
Upstairs, large landing with office area, 4 fully equipped bedrooms with wardrobes, shower room and separate toilet.
Each rental has its private exterior with dining area, garden furniture and barbecue.
La Borderie des Roys is a former Charente agricultural estate built in the middle of vineyards and fields 20 minutes from the Gironde estuary and the first beaches and 30 minutes from Royan and the ocean.
On this estate there are 3 gîtes, the owners' house, a 14 x 7 m swimming pool (with new liner) as well as a 4 x 3 m paddling pool for children.
Many walks or bike rides departing from the gîte.
By car, discovery of Saintonge with Saintes, then Cognac, Rochefort, La Rochelle, the Islands…
Each cottage is equipped with everything necessary and equipment for children is loaned on request.
In order to avoid certain inconveniences, animals are not allowed.
Each cottage has its own outdoor space with garden furniture, barbecue, dining area.
The ping-pong table and table football are shared.
The beds are made and towels are provided.
We are sensitive to ecology, respect for others and the environment.
We want to welcome tenants in the same spirit (selective sorting, anti-food and energy waste, recycling, etc.). please do not throw your cigarette butts into nature, respect the calm, the parking spaces... and remain discreet.

"Vraiment parfait"
Que dire à part que c'était parfait? Très joli gîte confortable et très propre, décoré avec goût. Une magnifique région entre campagne et bord de mer. Un petit coin de paradis au calme dans un superbe jardin. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine. Cerise sur le gâteau la gentillesse et les petites attentions des propriétaires, Catherine et Pierre, vous nous épatez ! Belle rencontre. Merci à vous

"Zeer aangenaam verblijf - merveilleux!"
Een erg verzorgde en rustig gelegen plek. In de buurt vind je mooie landschappen van zonnebloemen en ingeslapen Franse dorpjes. Enkele kilometers verderop bevinden zich enkele supermarkten.
Te midden van de grote tuin genoten we van het grote zwembad en de netjes aangelegde perkjes. Het huis met vier slaapkamers is stijlvol ingericht en erg verzorgd. Je kan binnen in de grote kamer of buiten onder de pergola voor het huisje eten. In de gezellige keuken staat een professioneel gasfornuis.
De slaapkamers en het sanitair waren erg proper. Catherine was meestal vlakbij en gaf graag tips of advies.
Het wifi-en TV signaal was erg zwak. Dit had te maken met de infrastructuur in de straat die later nog een aanpassing moet krijgen.
Samengevat hadden we er een heerlijke tijd. Een aanrader!

"Formidable"
Nous avons passé une semaine reposante.
Gîte au calme, situé dans un village à une trentaine de kms des plages et une vingtaine de kms de Saintes, idéal pour mélanger détente et visites.
Supermarché et autres commodités à proximité.
En couple avec un enfant de 2 ans nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse privative (avec barbecue), du vaste de terrain, de la belle piscine (malheureusement peu de fois pour nous, il n'a pas fait beau)
des petites activités ludiques : ping-pong, baby-foot, donner à manger aux poules...
Le logement est bien équipé, la literie est confortable, il y a de trés nombreux rangements dans chaque pièce ce qui est appréciable.
Super accueil avec une belle attention à notre arrivée.
Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir pour continuer la découverte de la région.

"Séjour très agréable"
Nous avons passé un bon séjour à Saint Simon. Nous avons découvert un gîte en parfait état et très propre. Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir profiter pleinement de l'immense piscine (très bien entretenue), du baby-foot et du tennis de table. L'environnement calme nous a permis de nous ressourcer et la bonne situation géographique du gîte (environ 20-25 mn de Saintes) de visiter les alentours. Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et ont fait preuve de petites attentions très agréables (des oeufs tout juste pondus par exemple), tout en restant discrets. Seul petit bémol, pour les ados surtout, une connexion wifi un peu capricieuse.
