Gîte Maison de Paille

Rental furnished straw house 35 m² on the ground, 70 m² in total, (rooms on the 1st floor) for a couple (in a 140 bed) and 1 person (in a 90 bed)
Concerned about the environment, we chose, as a family, to build a straw cottage.
The cottage is reserved for NON-SMOKING (interior and exterior) Animals are not accepted

All self-built by:
Pierre (the father) retired organic farmer; of our sons: Sébastien, Tony (organic farmer and miller) as well as Chantal (the mother) for her basketry and for the decoration with the family spirit, recovery in flea markets or family and from some potters, etc.) ... without forgetting a few members of the passing family whom we thank again.

The building is erected:
-with wooden frame (from the region's woods)
- straw walls (coming from our wheat fields after harvest)
- wood wool roof insulation
-exterior lime-straw plaster
-lime-hemp interior plaster then earth finish

Which gives a soft and warm atmosphere! Welcome….
The 70 m² gîte (including 35 m² on one level) includes
- a kitchen (fridge, 3 gas burner hob and 1 electric burner, oven, microwave
- a dishwasher, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, blender, kitchen utensils)
- a living room (table/chairs, sofa, wood stove, furniture)
- a bathroom (sink, shelves, 90/90 shower)
- a double bedroom 140/200
- a connecting room with 1 single bed, desk
- a toilet: “ventilated” dry toilet: (no odor)
- washing machine (shared)
- a terrace with garden table
- private parking, independent access, gîte in the flower garden.

In a garden created with numerous exchanges of trees, perennial plants with multiple and varied colors and scents
