Hiking trailsIn Vallon-Pont-d'Arc (4 km from Pont d'Arc and at the entrance to the Gorges de l'Ardèche), in the middle of a very old olive grove which dominates the village, you will discover a stone building of Provencal type. This is the owner's house.
Behind it the gîte (34 m²). Completely independent.
You enter the living room on one level: living room: sofa, television, dining area and equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, fridge-freezer).
1 bedroom (160x200 bed), sheets are provided.
1 bathroom (washing machine) and separate WC.
You are a 15-minute walk from the village center.
Reversible air conditioning + 2 extra convectors.
Outside, in the shade of the large oak tree, you can enjoy a dining area, relax and a plancha.
Breathtaking view: you overlook the village of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and see the entrance to the Gorges de l'Ardèche (3 km), as well as the restitution area of the Chauvet Cave and its oldest cave paintings in the world: 36,000 BC
You park your car on the property.
Animals are not wanted. The cottage is non-smoking.
You are 5 km from the Pont d'Arc, entrance to the Gorges de l'Ardèche and 2 km from the river.
The scrubland awaits you to hike from the gîte.
Take advantage of the region specializing in outdoor sports: swimming (in the river), canoeing, paddleboarding, caving, climbing, mountain biking, all-terrain electric scooters ... but also the vineyards and their cellars, the equipped caves, the descents in boats, museums and typical old Ardèche villages (cobbled streets, vaults ...), Provencal markets and the Pont d'Arc 4 km away (natural arch spanning the Ardèche river) and its nature reserve and of course the Chauvet 2 cave replica of the Chauvet Cave. "Calme assuré dans ce très beau gîte"
Très bon accueil. La propriétaire est très sympathique et discrète.
Le gîte est magnifique, très confortable, rien ne manque. Endroit paisible, un petit paradis pour les personnes qui aiment le calme, la nature.
Si un jour nous revenons en Ardèche, nous reviendrons assurément dans ce gîte. Nous recommandons à 100%!
