Beautiful cottage located in a green setting with a landscaped garden closed, the cottage is an old barn completely restored, true house of character and charm with its stones and its exposed beams.
House founded before 1585 by important people in the service of the King.
During your stay in our cottages, you will have at your disposal some authentic documents (will of April 6, 1651), copied to the archives.

- a living room with a sofa bed, a wardrobe, a table, chairs, a television ...
- a room with 1 bed for 2 persons.
- a loft bedroom with 2 single beds and a large HD TV.
- equipped kitchenette, gas hob, oven, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, washing machine.
- bathroom with shower and toilet.
- collective parking, and park of 3 ha available.
- sheets and blankets provided
Access of travelers
15 minutes from Tours, near the Château d'Amboise, the Château de Chenonceau, and the closed Lucé (the famous house of Leonardo da Vinci).
A park of three hectares is at your disposal to share with Lulu the turkey royal and his companion, a couple of peacock, a good dozen chickens and their rooster who walks there.
If you have bicycles you will find at the end of the park the entrance to the circuit 'Loire a vélo' for large, safe walks.

"Agréable sejour en Touraine au gite Le Chenin"
Nous avons passe un agréable séjour dans le gite le Chenin. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et discrets.
Merci pour les charmantes attentions : oeufs frais, bouteille de vin de Touraine.
Le gite décoré avec goût, est conforme aux photos et possede tout ce qu il faut pour se sentir bien. Malgre la fermeture de nombreux sites soit en raison de la pandemie soit pour fermeture hivernale, nous avons fait de belles balades : dans le vignoble, le long de la Loire , dans les jolis villages ainsi que deguster les bons vins de Touraine.
