Located in a green and calm setting, on the edge of the old canal lateral to the Loire, you will be 2 km from the town of Briare, famous for its canal bridge and its enamels.
"L'orée du bois" is located on the first floor of the main farmhouse.
It has a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa (convertible to accommodate an adult or children), an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with WC. Direct access from the back of the farmhouse avoids having to climb the stairs.
Outside, a table and chairs are also at your disposal to take full advantage of the summer evenings.
We lend you bikes on request. The "Loire à Vélo" cycle route is on the other bank of the canal and you just have to step over the Buisson bridge to get there.
Your car or motorcycle will be safe in the parking lot located in the large enclosed courtyard.
La ferme du Buisson is labeled "Accueil Vélo" and "Loire à Vélo".
Briare is accessible by train from Paris-Bercy in 1h30, by car via the RN7 or the A77 motorway.
This town in the south of Loiret is at the crossroads of Puisaye, Berry and Sologne, territories where nature reigns supreme. You will be able to discover the local museums and the small tourist train there which will make you travel in the heart of this charming city where the Loire and the canals meet for the pleasure of the eyes.
The so-called "wild" Loire with its sandbanks offers superb landscapes. Its edges are suitable for strolling. It is accessible on foot or by bike following the bank of the old canal which passes into the Loire. Possibility of canoe-kayak trips.
Nearby, you can visit the medieval construction site of Guédelon en Puisaye, the earthenware factory of Gien, the castle of Sully-sur-Loire, the Romanesque abbey of Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire and Rogny-les-Sept-Écluses.

"Super gîte, idéal pour le vélo et le repos."
Bon accueil, Catherine est très agréable et n'est pas en manque de conseils.
Repos assuré, pas un bruit dans cette ancienne ferme. Vélos à l'abri, on y est tranquille.
