This restored old house is located in the old village of La Malène, labeled Petite Cité de Caractère, in the heart of the Gorges du Tarn in the Lozère department. Authentic, you can access it by a pedestrian lane and an outside staircase. From the terrace, you will have a dominant view of the village and the canyon of the Gorges du Tarn.
Gîte du Barry is located 200 meters from the river. In addition to swimming, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the historic boat ride with the Boatmen of the Gorges du Tarn, but also to experience the descent by canoe or paddle. You can also appreciate the history of the village through the discovery trail and the many surrounding hiking trails.
In the surroundings, essential sites to visit (caves, ecomuseum, mill, factories, etc.), local products, but also more sporting activities such as gliding, bungee jumping, paragliding, climbing , etc ...
