Located in an old historic café in the town, the "Relais de randonneurs" existing since 1912, the cottage is in a mud house.
Completely renovated, design atmosphere, the apartment integrates contemporary comfort in an agricultural environment.

The apartment is new and intended for our personal use for our old age ! … Also the fittings are particularly neat and adapted to people with reduced mobility (hence the total absence of a door in the apartment).

Finally, we decided to put it on seasonal rental for 1 or two years. It is original in its design and the lighting is particularly neat for optimal comfort.

The two terraces allow you to choose sun or shade throughout the day.
Ideal for holidays but very functional for people traveling on business.

Our very large courtyard (20 x 10 m) easily allows the entry of large vehicles (4 m gate) or to park a boat. The barn can accommodate a large vehicle or motorcycles on a concrete floor.
Access to the garden or to the orchard is free.

Pont de Beauvoisin train station is 2 km away.
The calm of the place contrasts with the ability to reach the large cities of Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble, Chambéry, Voiron between 30 min and 1h30 by road.
Cross-country skiing and downhill skiing are practiced 30 minutes away and hiking and cycling circuits leave in front of the house as well. Access to the ViaRhôna (2 km) or the Camino de Compostela (7 km)!
Between lakes and mountains, towns and villages, access to sports activities (swimming, triathlon, trail running, walking, fishing, skiing, cycling, climbing, paragliding, paramotor, microlight, glider, orienteering, caving, etc.) or cultural activities (cinema, games library, media library, exhibitions, entertainment, etc.), allows you to build an unforgettable stay with a variety of absolutely remarkable activities!

A garden, an orchard, a tree house assure you "peace and serenity" facing the surrounding mountains, you have the right to DO NOTHING during your stay ... sleep, meditate, write, read, draw, bored with pleasure!

GAEC (agricultural groups) in the immediate vicinity, allow you to eat healthily during your stay.
A large shopping area (4 km) can meet all your needs.

The GPS will guide you smoothly just in front of the gate (see photo). If you have a GPS failure, go to the school/municipality/church of St Jean d'avelanne. Take the direction of Velanne (route de velanne). After 330 m you will see a hairpin bend to the right, which leads up to a forest. Take it and after 2 bends and 505 meters, you will pass an agricultural building on your left, a meadow on your right. You will then see our gate at the end of a small paved road that passes between two country houses, the farmer's house and ours! You have arrived! All you have to do is ring the bell at the portal... we will be happy to welcome you!
