Table tennis Playground Hiking trailsThe Mas de Bordes, a set of buildings dating from the 18th century, has been a place of reception (gîte and campsite) for almost thirty years and a breeding farm for Aubrac cows.
The Mas is located 900 m above sea level, above the small village of Thuès-Entre-Valls in the Pyrénées-Orientales.
Here the road ends and the hiking trails begin!
Gorges de la Carança, hot springs in the heart of nature on the property of the Mas (we will show you the way!), Little Yellow Train, charming villages, regional parks, sea, Cathar castles... We can advise you on walks and day trips from the Mas, by car or public transport!
Around the paved courtyard: our house and two gîtes to welcome you (maximum 12 people), simple and authentic, in connection with the surrounding nature.
The "koko-pelli" cottage is a large house that can accommodate up to 8 people, ideal for a large family or a group of friends... There are two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, on the ground floor. floor: living/dining room, fitted kitchen and wood-burning stove.
We also have a campsite on the farm, if you want to stay in a tent!

Parties allowedTerms of cancelation
The receipt of the deposit is worth reservation, it constitutes for us a guarantee in case of cancellation.
If the stay is canceled more than 2 months before the rental date (eg before May 2 for a rental from July 2) the deposit will be refunded.
If the stay is canceled in the second month preceding the rental date (eg between May 2 and June 2 for a rental from July 2), and except in cases of force majeure, the deposit will not be refunded.
If the stay is canceled in the month preceding the rental (ex: between June 2 and July 2 for a rental from July 2), and except in cases of force majeure, the deposit will not be returned and the total balance of the stay will be requested.
If the stay is canceled by us, the deposit will be returned to you.
If you are unable to come due to a travel restriction (covid), your deposit will be fully refunded, regardless of the cancellation period.

Other conditions
You can rent the whole gîte, or just one of the bedrooms with living room and private kitchen (price 1 bedroom + kitchen-living room from €75 for 1 to 3 people).
In the summer season, we only rent the entire gîte and for a minimum of 4 nights (490€/4 nights - 790€/week).
Firewood (for the stove on the ground floor) and electricity (electric heaters in the bedrooms) are included in the price.
Sheets supplement: 7€/person
Dogs are accepted, please let us know if you want to bring your own (we have many animals and 2 dogs on the farm), suppl. 3€/dog/day
We do not ask for extra for cleaning, we are counting on you to leave the gîte as clean as you found it on arrival.

"Super séjour dans un super gite"
Le gite est vraiment très beau, il correspondait réelement à nos attente, un très bon rapport qualité / prix et emplacement géographique... nous recommandons vivement ce gite d'ou les propriétaires sont très sympa et accueillant(e)s.

"Excellent séjour"
Nous avons passé un superbe week-end entre amis dans ce gîte. La maison est fonctionnelle et très jolie, dans un cadre superbe qui offre plusieurs possibilités de randonnées.
Les soirées autour du poêle étaient un régal , les hôtes sont accueillants et prévenants.
Nous reviendrons sûrement !

"Séjour au Mas de Bordes"
Très bien reçus, dans un lieu et un environnement authentique.
Rien d'autre à ajouter que ce séjour de 3 jours n'est pas suffisant, il y a tant à découvrir et à faire en activités autour, que nous songeons à revenir.
