This large country house is surrounded by 12 hectares of forest and can accomodate 18 people very comfortably. There is a small dam and the Bandiat River that runs along one border of the property. In the enclosed park area behind the house is a 12m swimming pool. All of this is for your exclusive use. to enjoy with your family and/or friends. You could happily spend all your time enjoying the peaceful and quiet surroundings and enjoy walking in the forest.
The house has a total of 7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 3 separate toilets and sleeps 18.
Ground floor (main entrance): 3 bedrooms with a double bed, 2 single beds in the games room, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate toilets, lounge/TV room, large laundry.
1 st floor : 2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bathroom and separate toilet, library / TV room, main lounge, small dining room, spacious fully equipped kitchen.
Attic : 6 single beds in a large bedroom (not bunk beds).
The kitchen is fully equipped. There is fiber optic internet. All sheets and towels are provided (except swimming towels) and the beds will be made when you arrive. Electricity, cleaning (end of stay), and heating are included in the total price. Wood is provided for the fireplaces in winter.
In summer there is a gazebo in the garden near the pool where you can take your meals. There is also a BBQ. There is also another peaceful area with a small table and chairs under the trees overlooking the swimming pool where you can relax and enjoy the view.
Please be aware that the river and dam have no fences to prevent small children from accessing them. We will open the swimming pool in May if the weather is good. Otherwise it will be opened in June.
You need a car to get around as public transport is pretty non existent. The closest train station is a 35 minute drive.

Une très bonne expérience dans cette belle demeure familiale. L'hôte a été prévenant et réactif et la maison est très bien adaptée pour les groupes et grandes familles. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu.
