Renovated 18th Century stone built farmhouse which has been converted into owners accomodation and a gite. It has been furnished to a very high standard with a blend of modern furniture and original features throughout such as beamed ceilings, remains of an original grain press and exposed stone work. The gite is extremely spacious and both bedrooms are en-suite and on the 1st floor.
The farmhouse is situated in a small farming hamlet and set in an enclosed landscaped garden offering guests their own parking area. The gite has it’s own paved terrace area with barbecue and is fully equipped for outside dining or relaxing in the peace of the country side. There is an overground swimming pool (5mtrs x 1.2mtrs) which is ideal for cooling off or for children to splash around. In our grassed garden there are swings, swing ball, trampoline, table tennis, badmington net & plenty of space for children to run around. We are only 4 minutes drive away from the lovely town of Montreuil-Bellay with it’s charming Chateau & River Thouet or less than 15 minutes drive from the vibrant town of Saumur, the old town of Thours and the picturesque town of Doue le Fontain with one of Europes top zoo’s.

Super accommodatie van alle gemakken voorzien en erg ruim (3 badkamers voor 2 senioren is zelfs enigszins overdone). Auto kan op het eigen terrein overdekt geparkeerd worden. We hebben wederom genoten van ons verblijf hier. De omgeving is prachtig, er is steeds iets nieuws te ontdekken en dat terwijl we al jarenlang in deze regio komen.
