Formerly a stable this small Barn has been beautifully restored to a very high standard and retains original features, beams throughout and a bespoke staircase. It offers comfortable living accommodation for a couple and is tastefully decorated. It has a cosy living room with beams and a chimney with imitation wood-burner stove, original manger and racking, ideal for curling up on the leather sofa with a glass of wine. For chefs, we have fully fitted, well equipped oak kitchen with washing machine and dining area.

Situated on the edge of our small village along a quite country lane you can enjoy peace and quiet on the private terrace in front of the Barn. Visit the wide sandy beaches of the coast, the more adventurous can try sand-yachting or explore the lovely villages and towns along this unspoilt area of France and enjoy the traditional weekly markets or seasonal Sunday brocantes. Ideal for cycling or walking along the quiet country lanes or enjoy one of the many Rambling pathways in the area.. Visit St Omer with its lovely squares or play the challenging 18 hole golf course just 20 minutes away at Lumbres, one of the best in France. Not to be missed is the walled city of Montreuil sur Mer with its gastronomic restaurants and panoramic views from the ramparts or head for the sandy beaches on the Cote d’Opale. The Somme region is not far away and history lovers will enjoy Arras with its WW1 memories, cobbled squares and museums, visit Albert and Peronne with their superb museums. Chocolate lovers will be tempted by a visit to the Belgian city of Brugges with its canals and pretty shops, just over 90 minutes away by motorway. Whether you want sophisticated resorts like Le Touquet with designer shopping, restaurants, beaches and casino, or more unspoilt coastal treasures with sleepy seaside resorts, there is a beach to please everyone.

Warm welkom van Sarah, The Barn heeft karakter en sfeer en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het bed ligt prima en het is er heerlijk rustig. Voor boodschappen moet je een stukje rijden maar verder is het goed toeven in The Barn!

Prachtige plek in een mooie omgeving, goed toeven hier!
Fijn huis, van alle gemakken voorzien en een mooie grote, omheinde tuin waar onze hond zich uitstekend heeft kunnen vermaken.
Hartelijke ontvangst met lekker flesje rosé, Sarah met tips voor restaurants in de omgeving, wat te doen, super behulp...

Hartelijk ontvangst door Sarah, het huisje bevat veel extra’s in de keuken. Zelfs een dunschiller en een rasp. De bedden slapen lekker. Heerlijk dat er 2 badkamers zijn. Geweldig de gamecomputer voor de jongeren. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf.
