La Maison du Jardin is a restored 18th century stone farmhouse situated in our lovely country garden in a small quiet farming hamlet just outside the village of Valanjou amid the soft green pastures of the Layon valley dotted with picturesque villages and vineyards.
The accommodation is generous for two. Babes in arms are welcome and a cot is available, however we don’t feel the property is suitable for toddlers and young children.
The front door opens into a large sitting room with its original terra cotta tiled floor, dining area with a pretty garden view, traditional tufa fireplace, woodburner, sofa, easy chairs and sideboard, music centre, games and a good selection of books.
Free WiFi is available.
The back door leads to the drive, parking and large grassy area.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, gas cooker, dishwasher, toaster and breakfast table.
Upstairs the former grenier is now a large light bedroom with double bed.
There is a separate shower room with a large shower, handbasin, electric wall heater and a glazed door opening onto stone steps leading down to the garden.
There is also a separate WC. Linen is provided except towels. Free use of our washing machine is available. There is garden furniture for relaxing and sunbathing and a BBQ.

La Maison du Jardin is approx 3.5km from the village of Valanjou and is roughly equidistant between Angers, Saumur and Cholet. which are approx 40minutes by car.
