Villa Thermes is a one bedroomed town house set in the heart of the small French town of St Jean d'Angely in the Charente Maritime department of south west France.
Just 250m to the Mairie and a short stroll to the shops, bars and restaurants of the town, making it an ideal location for a relaxing short break or longer holiday.
The town of St Jean d'Angely boasts as well as a good selection of restaurants, a twice weekly market, several large hypermarkets, a cinema, a historical abbey and clock tower with guided tours, a river with fishing and lake with canoeing in summer; and for families, a park with childrens playground and a big indoor swimming pool complex. The house is mainly on one level making it suitable for those who have difficulty with stairs. (please note that there are two steps down to the kitchen and two steps to the garden too) There is a good sized master bedroom (13.30m2) with king sized (180x200) bed, wardrobes, draws, 32inch flat screen tv and en-suite bathroom (5m2) with toilet, walk in shower, basin and bath.
The sitting room (20m2) has a 3 seater sofa which converts to a double bed (140x200) owever please note this must be requested before reserving as an extra charge may apply.
There is also an arm chair and coffee table plus a dining table with 4 chairs.
There is a second shower room/toilet too (3.30m2) , so the house can comfortably sleep 4 adults for a short break or a young family for a longer holiday ( at extra charge - please enquire). The large window looks out onto the enclosed private garden. Two steps lead down to the fully equipped kitchen (7m2) Dishwasher, fridge / freezer (169L/37L) , electric oven /grill (71L), electric kettle, coffee machine (Bosch Tassimo), toaster, microwave and all crockery and cutlery needed for a comfortable self catering holiday or short break.
There is also a separate laundry room (2.86m2) with 9kg washing machine, vacuum cleaner, drying rack, cleaning materials, iron and board. The garden has a terrace with garden table, chairs and barbecue for outdoor dining, a herb garden with bench and sunbeds for relaxing (the garden is a real suntrap) a decked area with low wooden table and chairs for pre dinner cocktails and a covered decked area for those who like a little shade.
The garden is completely enclosed and is very private.
Please note that we are unable to host pets. Additional price info and offers: If you have children under the age of 2 yrs in a cot there is no charge If you have children contact us first as we may accept 2 adults with 2 young children without charging the full 3 or 4 person price. Please note from 1st October to end of April there is a supplementary charge for electric when staying longer than 3 nights.

Just 250m away from the town Mairie, so very central. The front door leads out onto the street which although has traffic passing by during the day, is in a residential part of the town so is quiet at night and not particularly noisy during the day. You are just a short stroll to the town centre with its restaurants and cafés. There is on road free public parking on the street outside and free public parking area just 100m away which includes a electric vehicle charging station.(pay)
