Situated in the heart of a lively 13thc village of Capestang (on the Canal du Midi) the restaurants, shops, cafes and twice weekly market are all just a few steps away.
This large, spacious old French property with its adjacent 13th century tower (& resident owl) is called the Manoir. The Manoir accommodation is provided over 3 floors.
The top floor has 1 double en suite and 3 twins rooms (1 en suite, 2 twins share 3rd bathroom) The middle floor has 2 large double rooms, both having ensuite bathrooms.
One bedroom has a dressing room with cot. In the spacious sitting room with comfy sofas are a TV, DVD player and a music centre.
There is also a wood burning stove.
There is a modern kitchen and large dining room. Outside is a large gated courtyard, whilst to the side is a secluded patio garden with pool (9x 4.5 and 1.2 deep). Pool opening dates 2023, 05/04/2023 - 31/10/2023. There is also a BBQ, summer kitchen with drinks fridge, shower, cloakroom, table tennis and lots of teak garden furniture for relaxing.
The church behind is lit at night and proves a wonderful backdrop to dinner! It is also possible to rent two other properties in the grounds, namely: The Manoir and The Vigneron, can be rented separately or together and will therefore have access to the pool. The Vigneron - ( also over three floors.) On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom, the kitchen and a shower room / toilet.
The first floor houses the living room and the fun "Couve" bedroom.
This room has a small ladder leading to an old couve which can hold 4 single mattresses.
There is also a cot for a baby.
The top floor has the double en-suite bedroom The Grange - (separate from the above) which can sleep another 6 people in 3 ensuite bedrooms and which has wheelchair access with a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. If this property is rented together with Manoir and Vigneron then access to the pol is allowed. Please ask at the time of your enquiry if you would like pricing for the extra accommodation. Additional price info and offers: The Security Deposit of 500€ (refundable after your stay) is due 56 days before the start of the holiday.
