This unique property is located on the perimeter of one of the most beautiful villages in France.
It is constructed on two levels with the main living area accessed at street level.
From the outside, you are greeted by what appears to be a small stone cottage that is deceptively large and open inside. Upon entry, you are welcomed by a hallway that leads you into the heart of the house, the open plan living/dining/kitchen area.
This grand room offers high beamed ceilings throughout and is illuminated by three double sliding doors, each providing access to the south facing balcony beyond.
The indoor seating area is centred around a fireplace flanked by huge bookcases, each housing a wide selection of games, books and DVD's. There is a TV and DVD player in the corner for relaxed cooler evenings.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with an American style fridge/freezer, oven, countertop hob, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher.
There is a large dining table both inside and on the balcony, each with more than enough space for 6 people to enjoy a meal together, surrounded by the glorious views of the countryside. Also on this floor, there is a double bedroom with 6ft bed (or 2 twin beds), en-suite bathroom and separate WC. The wide staircase to the right of the entrance leads you to a further 2 bedrooms.
Each one boasting its own access to the pool terrace and garden beyond, through more sliding doors.
There is a large downstairs bathroom and utility room with washing machine and dryer. With this stunning property, everything you need is on your doorstep.
Penne offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants with a budget to suit everyone.
There are historical landmarks to visit, such as the magnificent basilica that can be seen from miles around, or the medieval prison in the centre. Shops, banks and supermarkets can all be found within a 10 minute driving distance.

We had a fantastic stay at Maison Recluse.
All facilities are in the house and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace with its beautiful view of the area.
It’s a pleasure to stroll through the pretty village and end up at the church positioned with a great view of the Lot valley.

Afgelopen augustus 2024 hier 2 weken met zn 5e vakantie mogen vieren. Geweldige tijd gehad. Het huis is zeer ruim met 3 goede slaapkamers. Een erg grote woon/eet keuken met een enorm balkon over de gehele lengte van het huis.(+-12 bij 3 meter). Het uitzicht is geweldig vanaf het balkon, en maakt he...
