We are directly opposite the river beach of Saint Aulaye and on the edge of this historic old village.
Wander up the hill to the boulangerie, shops and weekly market. Launderette facilities available in the village.

The Walnut tree is located in the Double forest area of the west Dordogne on the banks of the river Dronne. The village boasts old citadel walls, a church dating back to Roman times, boulangeries, local produce shops and a weekly market.
Within a 20 minute drive you will find attractions such as Echourgnac Abbey selling its own produce, lakes such as La Jemaye and forests to explore.
Historic villages abound such as Aubeterre sur dronne with its fascinating monolithic church.
Within an hours drive you can visit, St emilion, Brantome, Perigeux and many other stunning towns of the Dordogne.
