Charming and cozy house situated on a plot with mature pine, oak and olive trees.
This house is ideal for warm summer days and evenings, where you can enjoy a glass of rosé on the covered outdoor terrace, a barbecue and if it is too hot you can take a dip in the private swimming pool. You will fall in love with Provence, the village of Rustrel and its people. The house has a big living room with TV and fireplace that leads to a large outdoor terrace overlooking the private garden and pool.
The kitchen is well equipped.
The dining room forms part of the big open plan living space and you can decide if you want to eat inside or outside on the terrace. There are 3 bedrooms (one en suite) with another full bathroom and a further separate guest toilet. The house is in the heart of Provence and is ideally suited as a base to explore this magnificent region.
Travel brochures and guides are available to assist you, if needed. Rustrel is an authentic village which has not been spoilt by an overrun of tourists, yet it is in close proximity to the best Provence has to offer. Not accessible to people with reduced mobility Additional price info and offers: Tourist tax of 1.10 euro per person per day. No charge for children under 18 years old.

Maison "des Iris" is located in a quiet area of the small village of Rustrel. With its plus minus 750 inhabitants, it is cozy and friendly, with the comfort of a bakery, épicerie, post office, cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
Rustrel is located between beautiful nature reserves: on the north side rugged mountains of 1100 meters altitude and on the south side the spectacular 'Colorado de Rustrel', a tourist attraction famous for its beautiful ocher colors. You can take beautiful walks, but also cycle or take day trips by car to various Provencal markets or to special villages such as Roussillon, Menerbes, Lourmarin or Gordes.
For people who love peace and authenticity, villages such as Banon, Viens, Sault and Simiane-la-Rotonde are highly recommended. In the months of July and early August, the lavender fields are in bloom, Provence to its core.
