Whether you want to unwind in nature or explore everything the Dordogne has to offer, our two thoughtfully designed gites, Faune & Flore, provide the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

Set within a 1.5 hectare private estate in a National Park, Vive le Vert is surrounded by rolling hills, peaceful forests, and charming villages and there's plenty to do beyond enjoying the scenery! Whether you love the outdoors, discovering new places, or just relaxing around the pool, there's something here for everyone.

Due to our perfect geographical location you get to discover not just the Dordogne but also the close surrounding departments of Charente, Haute-Vienne, Limousin & Corrèze, all offering a variety of activities that make exploring fun:
Canoeing & Caving - Drift along calm rivers, passing stunning countryside and historic castles and picturesque villages.
Then, venture underground to explore fascinating caves filled with ancient rock formations, hidden chambers and prehistoric wonders. Lakes & Wild Swimming - Natural swimming lakes offer sandy beaches, paddleboarding, and even inflatable water parks.

With our Wi-Fi, sharing your holiday moments is easy, and the night skies are incredible for stargazing accompanied by soulful owl hoots, whilst mornings are reserved for serenading birds. Two Beautiful Gîtes To Choose From… ‘Faune’ and ‘Flore’, each boast charming exteriors adorned with rustic stone walls and wooden shutters.
Nestled amidst lush foliage and the colourful canvas of nature’s splendour, both gîtes offer sunbeds for basking in the sunlight and the opportunity for a refreshing dip in the pool whenever desired.
Indulge in outdoor dining on the terrace or lawn, ignite the barbecue for a delightful evening, and unwind to the melodies of chirping birds at sunset, accompanied by a glass of wine and locally crafted cheese. Why Vive le Vert? A mix of nature, relaxation, and adventure! A private pool and spacious outdoor areas, room for everyone! A perfect location to explore the Dordogne and beyond! A memorable family holiday for years to come! Whether you're looking for peaceful days or new experiences, Vive le Vert is a place where everyone can enjoy their holiday, their way. Flore is our smaller gîte at about 100m2, sleeps 2 up to 5/6 (a 6th futon bed can be unfolded). As you step into the gîte through the double garden doors, you’re greeted by the inviting living room, featuring a cozy sofa, relaxing chairs, a dining table, and a well-appointed kitchen complete with all the amenities you could desire: a coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, full-size electric cooker, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
A washing machine is also accessible for your convenience. Adjacent to the kitchen is the bathroom, complete with a shower, sink, and separate toilet. Ascending the stairs to the first floor, you’ll find two bedrooms.
One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the other offers two single beds which can also be joined together to form a double bed. In the mezzanine area, there’s a fifth full-size single bed, and if required, a bed for a sixth person can be unfolded. Outside, a vast garden awaits, furnished with garden furniture and a wooden dining table accompanied by 4 chairs, perfect for alfresco dining on warm summer evenings. Additionally, a barbecue grill is conveniently situated on the terrace for enjoyable grilling sessions.
Yes, we’re wired, Wi-Fi and a portable Bluetooth speaker are provided for your enjoyment. The prices listed are based on groups of four, a small fee will apply per additional person. Please contact us for details and feel free to reach out if you need any further information or assistance. And of course, we welcome your beloved furry friends, contact us if you’d like to bring along your cherished extended family members. A small fee will be charged for your pet. Ask for details.
