La Boulangerie is a charming, characterful gîte that combines rustic authenticity with the comforts of modern living.
Nestled in the peaceful Normandy Bocage, it’s perfectly located for those who love nature, with walking and cycling routes on the doorstep, yet just a 4-minute drive from the lively market town of Vire. The gîte is part of a traditional stone-built property and offers a tranquil retreat.
Enjoy a large living room with a cozy pellet stove, two comfortable bedrooms, and a modern shower room upstairs.
Beds are made on arrival, bathroom linen and utilities are included—everything is taken care of for a relaxed stay. Outside, take advantage of the shared heated pool (available in summer months), which is only shared with one other gîte on the property that sleeps 10 guests. Discover the surrounding area: you're just 1h15 from Mont Saint Michel, 1 hour from the beaches of Granville, and 40 minutes from Caen.
Nearby attractions include Lac de la Dathée and its golf course, the Souleuvre Viaduct with bungee jumping, zip lines, a giant swing, summer luge runs, and tree-climbing adventures. Don’t miss the Friday morning market in Vire, and enjoy the calm of the countryside with views over a tranquil pond and the neighbor’s grazing sheep. Gîte in the property, adjoining the owners' house. 2nd gîte for 10 people in the property. Additional price info and offers: Heating costs -- Mainly in Winter months November to April We supply wood pellets for the burner, enough to last 3 days If more needed we can supply at market rates approx 6€ a bag or you can supply your own! There is Electric heating in all bedrooms, bathroom and Kitchen which if sensibly used we pay for but please use as if it is you paying the bill (responsibly) The Swimming pool is open May to October -- weather dependent The opening hours are 11 am until 8 pm

La Boulangerie is een fijne, vrijstaande gite op een schitterende plek in de Normandische natuur.
De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn bijzonder aardig en erg behulpzaam. Een topplek om van daaruit de wijde omgeving te verkennen.

Un petit coin de paradis, dans la campagne normande. Le gite est bien équipé et les hôtes discrets et charmants. Situé au centre de la Normandie, à moins d'une heure de route, on peut visiter un nombre important de lieux caractéristiques de cette région et profiter aussi de la mer.
