Le Grebe is our largest property with spacious kitchen/dining and lounge areas (including a wood-burner) and four large bedrooms. The gite has authentic charm alongside modern day conveniences.
There is level access throughout the ground-floor, which includes a bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Key features include: ground floor large double bedroom with comfortable double bed and en-suite shower room, large double bedroom with comfortable king size bed and en-suite shower room upstairs, two twin bedrooms upstairs with shared bathroom, all bedrooms have their own fan, all shower enclosures are spacious and contain a modern shower unit, all towels except swimming towels are provided within the rental charge (swimming towels are available to hire), all bedding is provided (for guests staying for 2 weeks or more fresh linen is provided weekly), hair dryer, fully fitted, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, 4-burner hob, oven, electric kettle and espresso coffee maker, comfortable chairs in the lounge and dining room, TV with satellite English and French Freeview channels, Bluetooth speakers, dvd player, large west-facing private garden with table and chairs, parasol, sun-loungers and Weber gas barbecue to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun with easy access to the pool, wheelchair accessible heating and logs for the log-burner are available at extra cost, free wi-fi (there is good 4G coverage in our area. If you’re looking for a pool in which to cool-off from the heat, partake in more leisurely distance swimming or to play some family games our large pool is the perfect place for you. it is 12.5m x 5m and heated, easily accessed from the rear of the gites, has large surrounding terracing with ample lounger chairs with cushions, poolside shower with solar-heated hot water, open from May to September, available for use every day, maintained to an extremely high standard.
The pool has Roman steps at one end, giving easy access to young and old alike.
It is a particular favourite with families with young children who are learning to swim.

Les Petites Cigognes is within easy travel distance of Paris or other points of arrival and is situated just outside the sleepy village of Cussay. Five minutes in either direction will bring you into our neighbouring towns of Descartes and Ligueil.
Descartes is located about 15 miles east of the A10 junction 25, near St. Maure de Touraine, south of Tours. The city of Tours, the regional capital, is within 45 minutes driving of Les Petites Cigognes. And beyond lies the beauty of the Loire Valley, The Garden of France.
