Overlooking the ruins of Lavauguyon Chateau and on the Route Coeur de Lion.
There is a lovely large garden to relax in , with garden furniture and childrens toys provided.
We offer a 4m overground pool to cool off on those hot summer days, located near to the shade of a beautiful lime tree.
Indoors we have children's toys and games, a playstation, and lots of books, with a log burning stove for cool nights in. Lots of things to do locally to suit all ages.
For children, there's Aventure Parc at Massignac, & the beach and lake at Plage de la Guerlie where there'S inflatables and water sports in the summer.
For day trips put there's Futuroscope and La Vallée des Singes both about 1hr away.
Nearer to home for history lovers, there are large chateaux at Rochechouart and La Rochefoucauld, and the Roman Baths at Chessenon.
There is weekly Wednesday Market at Piégut, Thursday night markets in the summer at St Mathieu, and great places to eat.

Dépaysement total ont ce croirait à la montagne de superbes balades pas besoin de faire des heures de voiture pour trouver trouve une activité ou un magasin Wifi gratuit mais parfois difficile de capter Manque un peu de couverts et batterie de cuisine au niveau de la propreté il faudrait faire un b...

Great communication throughout. House absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of storage for husbands fishing tackle. Has everything you need plus more if you have younger children. Didn't get to use the pool unfortunately due to bad weather. ☹️ View from gbreathtaking.
