Le Château se trouve dans le canton de Lurcy-Lévis, à 280 kilomètres au Sud de Paris, 220 kilomètres de Lyon, 110 kilomètres de Clermont-Ferrand et 60 kilomètres de Bourges. C’est le centre géographique du pays, à la jonction des régions Bourgogne et Auvergne. D'ici commence une vaste zone de réserves naturelles, qui s’étend plus au sud, occupant le plateau volcanique entre les fleuves La Loire et La Garonne.
Le Château est un manoir typique de l’aristocratie française. Sa forme moderne date du milieu du XIXème siècle. La partie la plus ancienne du Château, la tour défensive ayant survécu jusqu'à nos jours, se réfère au XVe siècle. Le Château lui-même, selon la légende médiévale, a été fondé au XIe siècle.
L’Hôtel peut accueillir environ 120 personnes pour les événements. Sont à disposition des 8 chambres supérieurs (41 m²) et 10 standard (23 m²) avec toutes les commodités, meublées dans un style classique. Il y a des chambres stylisées, pouvant convenir pour un mariage ou une escapade romantique.
La propriété entière est disponible à la location aussi bien pour y passer des vacances en famille ou entre amis que pour des séminaires d’entreprise ou des mariages, mais également des tournages photo et cinéma.

The Château de Beguin is situated in the canton of Lurcy-Levis, 300 kilometers south of Paris.
This is the geographical center of the country at the crossroads of the region "Bourgogne" and "Auvergne". From here begins farther south stretches a vast area of natural reserves, occupying the volcanic plateau between the rivers Loire and Garrone.
The castle Beguin is a tipical French aristocratic mansion. Its modern shape formed in the mid-nineteenth century.
The oldest part of the castle is the defensive tower that refers to the fifteenth century. According to medieval legend the castle was founded in the eleventh century.
The hotel can accommodate about 125 guests for events. There are available 8 superiors rooms (41m²) and 10 standard (23m²) with all amenities, furnished in a classical style. There are stylish rooms, which may be suitable for a wedding or a romantic getaway.

We booked the Chateau de Beguin in January 2020 for a small destination wedding for one week. Thanks to COVID-19 we believed we'd have to cancel our trip many times over the last 18 months.

We booked this castle with friends in May, for one week.
It is luxury and fully renovated castle, with different entertainments: pool, tennis, children playground .......
Very nice and clean place, what was important without any smell.
Very good place for events and privet holidays.
