As soon as you arrive, you will discover fascinating landscapes in which the attractive color of the house contrasts with the green of the pines and vineyards surrounding our hilltop village ranked among the "most beautiful village of France".
La Médiévale du Luberon is surrounding nature and a short walk from the heart of the village. La Médiévale du Luberon is a very quiet place facilitating complete privacy. At the foot of the property, a trail unknown from tourists sinks into a pine forest and offers a charming scenery with its glistening cliffs for great romantic walks at sunset.
You can discover Roussillon by foot, an enchanting village of ochre with its traditional colored coated houses, its numerous galeries of art, small shops with provençal items, and restaurants. At the top of the village, the Saint Michel church and its frontage dated from the 17 century is located near a cliff where you can admire a sumptuous panoramic view on the landscapes of Provence.
The house was thought and built in every details during 20 years by Véro and Bernard, the prior owner, both passionate and talented artists and craftspersons who gave lot of their soul in this house, respecting tradition by using unique materials (terra cotta tiles and enemalled stone made by themselves with the ochre and land from the village of Roussillon and backed in the still existing oven in the house, wooden floor, provençal ceilings, lava from french mountain…). Interiors stay naturally cool.
A great part of the house is surrounded by a long arbour naturally perfumed with roses or jasmin depending on the season which provides intimity, shade and coolness with its atomizer and offers different small terraces and places to have breakfast, relax or simply looking at the fish in the small pool.
In the garden, you can swim in our beautiful and big infinity pool in lava (15x6 m and 7x5m), sit in the water of its large beach or just relax in a bed, sofa orméridienne… All is done up for your comfort so that you can enjoy the sun or the shadow rocked with the song of the cicadas.
Possibility of immersive relaxation sessions and thaï massage.
We reserve you the greatest comfort (welcome present, high-quality bedding, sheets, swimming pool towels, hairdryer, internet access).
You also have access to the big living room with its great sofa and fireplace and the bar where fresh drinks are at your disposal. In the morning the breakfast is personalised according to your wishes (croissant, pain au chocolat, cheese, home made pancake…)

Roussillon is situated on the nord of the main road D 900 from Avignon to Apt.
Direction Apt, take the exit in lumières or direction Goult and follow the signs Roussillon.
Our house is just before the enter of the village on the right, chemin de la Mutte.
