Located on the heights of Lapoutroie, at an altitude of 650 metres, the Girardin family property is an old mountain farm dating from 1814, part of the attic of which houses the guest room. It has private access.

The guest room can accommodate 2 adults and possibly a child in the same room.
Classified 2 épis by Gîtes de France, it is labeled “Panda” by the WWF.

You enter on the ground floor via a terrace.

First, there is a large room with a lounge area including a convertible sofa, an armchair and a space with a round table and 4 chairs.
A small refrigerator, a cabinet containing a minimum of dishes for making hot drinks and a sink area complete the equipment (it is not intended to be used for cooking).

Through this room, you have access to the bathroom equipped with shower and sink and to a separate toilet.

The bedroom access is located at the back of this first room. There is a double bed with bedside tables, a single bed, a large wardrobe, 2 chairs and an armchair.

Breakfast can be served either on site, in the owners' dining room, or, if the weather permits, on the terrace in front of the house. You can enjoy homemade breads, jams, honey, yogurts, fruits and apple juice.

Central heating for each room is connected to our own wood pellet heating. Hot water is provided by a solar water heater.
The guest room does not have a television, as we do at home. However, Agnès can advise you on the choice of board games that you can borrow from the 300 that we have at home.

Summer and winter, many walks are accessible from the gîte and the guest room, on foot, by bike or on cross-country skis.

A marked circuit, of about 1h30, during which, thanks to the comments printed on a leaflet you will be able to discover the many facets of the surrounding nature. An observatory near the cottage, to be on the lookout for wild fauna.
Philippe is an amateur beekeeper and has an orchard with around thirty varieties of old apples.
La Gasse is an LPO refuge, that is to say a place where we try to protect birds by ensuring the tranquility of the place, in particular during sensitive periods: nesting and extreme cold. In addition, we participate in participatory science programs and spot butterflies or bumblebees during the year. You are invited to make these observations with us.
