We loved this place for many reasons - so much character, beautiful gardens with abundant produce that we got to partake of in our breakfasts, patient & encouraging French tutoring, the walkability of the area - but most of all because we were made to feel so at home. Chantal & John are wonderfully hospitable & kind. They went above & beyond in assisting us with some unexpected difficulties. They enjoy meeting & talking with new people & so we had the opportunity to get to know them a little and that was very special. Our bedroom was a very attractive & inviting space, equipped with everything we needed, spacious and very comfortable. We liked that it had an adjoining room with a microwave, fridge, kettle, counter & dishes so we could easily keep snacks & occasionally heat meals. Breakfasts were delicious. Highlights were the homemade bread & jams, a wide variety of fresh fruit - mostly from their garden - and fresh walnuts from their tree. When we needed to extend our stay, we spent 2 nights in their cottage, and would love to have stayed longer. It was rich in character with its thick walls and massive fireplace, but received lovely light from big windows, and provided lots of comfort with its living room couches, upstairs beds and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. We highly recommend both chambre d’hôte and gîte!

Magnifique écrin bucolique au cœur d'un Périgord riche d'histoire de convivialité et de gourmandises! Un grand Merci à nos hôtes qui nous ont reçus avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d'attention. Ils sont de très bon conseils touristiques et culinaires, à suivre les yeux fermés. Une chambre très spacieuse et confortable joliment décorée. La piscine est un vrai plaisir après une journée de découvertes, au calme dans un jardin exceptionnellement mis en valeur par nos hôtes. Merci à Chantal pour ses petits déjeuners "Fait maison". La chambre unique est un bonheur pour les personnes appréciant le calme et la sérénité
