The Turks Head has its own adjoining pub and restaurant, where the chef has designed a menu based on local produce. Additional shops, pubs and restaurants in the village of Rothbury can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot.
The National Trust site of Craigside House and Gardens is a 4-minute drive away. The hiking trails of Coquetdale are 3 miles away from the property, and the Northumbria coastline can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
