88400 XONRUPT-LONGEMER
Longemer Lake is a mecca of tourism in the Vosges, in the town of Xonrupt.
Glacial lake crossed by the Vologne, it stretches over 76 ha in the direction of the valley. Its maximum dimensions are 1950 m long by 550 m wide.
The tourist place results in the presence of several campgrounds (13 on the town) and the many opportunities for walking, fishing and other water recreation. This is also thanks to its accessibility so that qu'halieutique Lake Longemer was chosen to host some rounds of the championship of fly fishing, organized by France, in FIPS and FFPML in July 2002.
