Featuring a Michelin-starred restaurant and south-facing balconies, Alpaga overlooks Val d’Arly and Mont Blanc in Megève in the French Alps. It offers hotel rooms and self-catering apartments and chalets, and features Spa By Sothys which includes an indoor swimming pool, spa treatments, a hot tub and a Scandinavian bath. The accommodation is decorated in cool, neutral tones and features views of the surrounding mountains. Each has a flat-screen satellite TV, an iPod docking station and free WiFi access. The apartments and chalets feature a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher, and a private chef service is available. The chalets also have a fireplace, private garden and private garage upon request. 3 rooms are equipped for wheelchair access. Guests can choose to eat at the Michelin-starred "La table de l'Alpaga" restaurant, which offers continental breakfasts and gastronomic food, or at L'Onyx, a lounge restaurant. You can dine on the outdoor sun terrace in warmer months. Popular outdoor activities include skiing, rafting, fishing and hiking, and the hotel sells ski passes. Guests also have access to a kids' club and the on-site fitness center and a meeting room is available which opens onto the garden. With free private parking on site, the Alpaga is accessible via the A40 motorway. The hotel is in the village of Megève and is 15 km from Passy. The resort offers a free shuttle service.
