It is a 16th-century manor house surrounded by picturesque views of Pendle Hill, the Forest of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales. The building still retains a magnificent stone-arched fireplace, original ceilings and a priest hole.
All of the 33 bedrooms at Stirk House reflect a commitment to comfort and combine character, style and luxury. Visitors can expect rooms equipped with all the customary modern conveniences, with the addition of tea and coffee-making facilities.
Golf, fishing and hot air ballooning are all available in the Ribble Valley. The 12th-century Clitheroe Castle is 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel, and the Yorkshire Dales can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
