By car:
- Coming from George, follow the the N2 in the direction of Knysna.
- Cross Knysna River Bridge (White Bridge).
- Circa 3km before Knysna's town centre take the Welbedacht Lane turn-off
to your left.
- Continue on Welbedacht Lane until you get to the Cherry Lane turn-off on
your left-hand side (It is the first street on your left).
- Turn left onto Cherry Lane and continue up the road until you reach the
T-junction.
- At the T junction you will see a sign that says Elephant Hide Lodge.
- Follow the sign left until you see another sign on your right, 20metres past
the first sign.
- Go straight ahead, until you reach the lodge.

- Coming from Port Elizabeth, drive through Knysna's town centre on the
N2.
- The last set of traffic lights at the end of town is a T-junction (train line and
lagoon to your left).
- Continue straight ahead, along the lagoon and past the craft market to
your left.
- After 50 metres (past the craft market) you will see the Welbedacht Lane
sign to your right.
- Continue on Welbedacht Lane until you get to the Cherry Lane turn-off on
your left-hand side (It is the first street on your left).
- Turn left onto Cherry Lane and continue up the road until you reach the
T-junction.
- At the T junction you will see a sign that says Elephant Hide Lodge.
- Follow the sign left until you see another sign on your right, 20metres past
the first sign.
- Go straight ahead, until you reach the lodge.
