22240 PLÉVENON
Formerly the Roche-Goyon, the castle of Fort la Latte, located at the tip of the same name, opposite the Cape Freels in the department of Cotes d'Armor, is one of the most famous castles in Brittany. Remarkable for its location on a rocky headland, overlooking the sea, it was the setting for many films.
It is subject to a classification as historical monuments since August 11, 1925.
The motto of the old site of the castle was "Me zo Ganet e-Kreiz ar mor" ("I was born in the middle of the sea" in Breton).
